The company Navimatix GmbH, situated in Jena, Germany, develops custom-tailored and highly available track and trace solutions, mobile navigation systems as well as mobile data entry and gathering systems. Professional trainers and experienced employees are prepared to consult and provide training to customers in design, development and implementation of software solutions in a wide variety of programming languages.

In the joint research project SpeedUp, Navimatix is providing software components for map visualization and real-time position logging and processing. The project is aimed at investigating and proving of roll specific, situation optimized reports in complex disaster situations. Beside the classical places of visualization like control centers, the acting field service personnel is taking center stage in the consideration.

All necessary and helpful roll specific information that have a relation to the actual situation will be presented real time, important data will be highlighted and irrelevant detail will be aggregated and generalized. To reach that aim the information needs of varying players will be investigated and adapted presentations will be evaluated.
